As a part of the Ecotwins project, field trials of the combined effect of applying biostimulants and legumes on productivity and provision of ecosystem services are being conducted. This project provides an opportunity to establish communication, including cooperation in the scientific field, between leading scientific institutions of Ukraine and the European Union.

According to the research plan developed jointly with foreign partners on the territory of the Production unit NUBIP of Ukraine "Agronomic Research Station" under the leadership of Volodymyr Kozak, associate professor of the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection named after Prof. M.K. Shykula, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, soil samples were taken to further determine the impact of biostimulants on soil parameters.

The next step was the breakdown of experiments and the introduction of biopreparations under the sowing of the soil. After carrying out all the preparatory work, on March 24, sowing was carried out on experimental plots of barley and peas.
